Gavin's 9th Birthday

My boy turned 9 today. We got him a Lego Millennium Falcon that he just started putting together. We also made little homemade pizzas for supper. For dessert, a Yoda decorated cake is waiting.

Gavin began celebrating his upcoming 9th birthday today by doing a shared birthday party with his friend Canyon (who turns 8 the day before Gav). They decided to do Peter Piper Pizza for their party. Here are some pics:

Happy New Year!

We went to a new friend's house for New Year's Eve. They had lots of fun kid and adult games to keep us busy through the night. Here's Sara and Aubri doing some speed cup stacking and Micah playing Pictionary. It was a fun night. We stayed until midnight even though I had an early morning at the church the next day. Thankfully Sara allowed me to have a long peaceful nap Sunday afternoon.
