Aubri Makes Gavin a Beaded Bracelet

Aubri wanted a project to do so we decided to pull out the beads my mom gave us. As a kid I was taught to do loom beading, so I taught Aubri. She wanted to make Gavin something so she decided to make his name into a bracelet. She did a great job and Gavin loved his present.

The Parents Get a Getaway

The pastor of the church I serve at gave us a mandatory "getaway". They even paid for our hotel, we just had to arrange kid care. This time of year, Phoenix is the best bet for warm weather. The pastor used hotwire.com and found a 4.5 star hotel for about a quarter of the original price. Score for us! So we arranged for several families to help with the kids while Sara and I had a couple days in Phoenix. We left after church on Sunday and just got back last night. It was amazing! It was mid-80's and sunny most of the time, and the hotel was super nice. I'm so thankful for a church leadership that looks after us and makes sure we are being cared for along the way as we are pouring into others. 

My Church Office

My church office. The place where I read, where I pray, write worship sets, write worship songs, record & mix music, edit videos, and so much more. Some wonder if I get claustrophobic or lonely in my little space. Honestly, sometimes, but not very often. Mostly I'm just grateful to have a space to do what I get to do, which brings immense joy to my life. I thank God daily for the privilege to serve Him and His people with the gifts He has given. What a blessing!
