This Friday, we are attempting to go on a family vacation. Since I own a retail business and we have young kids, this is a rare occurrence. In fact, I don't believe I've been away from the store for a straight week since we've had kids. I'm not necessarily expecting this to be a relaxing vacation (part of the deal when you have young kids), but it will be good family time.
We'll be heading to Sioux Falls, SD for a family reunion over the weekend. The reunion ends on Sunday, but we plan to stay in Sioux Falls for a few more days after that. I've made arrangements so that I don't need to be back in the store until July 7th.
So, with many, MANY things to accomplish before we go, I'm preparing to venture through a crazy week. Thankfully, FASTFRAME has been extremely busy lately, but it requires more of me to get the work done before we go. It's sort of an exciting stress that I feel though as I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
We're supposed to be on the road by noon on Friday. I'm looking forward to that moment!

That's awesome! Best wishes to you all! We have done a ton of traveling around with our kids over the last two months, but I still have no advice on how to make it easier. Except to stay calm, laugh, and plan on blogging about it when you get home. :)
South Dakota....aren't the Black Hills Sara's fav vacation spot? I seem to recall this factoid from many years ago....
