I love that you are posting these pictures! We went out to Colorado Springs a few times when I was younger and saw some of these same things, so the pics bring memories back. We went to this zoo when I was probably in 5th grade and I remember laughing hysterically at an elephant that kept farting.
Is the North Pole amusement park still in existence? If it is, I expect pictures from your trip there too! :-)
Yep, the North Pole thing is still here. We drove past it on the way up Pikes Peak. I think we'll wait 'til it's a little closer to Christmas for that one though... at least wait 'til there's some snow on the ground.
