This Thanksgiving was a little different than previous years. This is our 2nd Thanksgiving away from family in Minnesota. Last year, in Colorado, we spent the day with another family; but this year we just did our own thing. Sara made her first, full, unassisted thanksgiving meal and she did an amazing job! Everything tasted great and was on the table and warm at the same time. I was impressed.
Then, she took advantage of all the "Black Friday" specials and was out shopping at 3am! She's a trooper. The kids are having a sleepover tonight at a friends' house so we'll get to go out kid-free tonight and hopefully sleep in a little tomorrow.
As we reflect on what we're thankful for this year, we are overwhelmed with all that we've been given. We often take for granted the things we are most thankful for, so it was good to take some time and truly thank our Lord for His many blessings!

Way to go, Sara! The Thanksgiving table looks wonderful and I'm sure all the food was delicious! (And I just noted that Micah is not wearing a shirt....lol....that totally made my day....) Miss you guys, but always thankful for your friendship!
Actually he's totally naked. That's how we roll at the Fitzsimmons' residence! :) (Kidding... I think he at least has his underwear on)
