On June 28th, we fly to Minnesota. We'll head to Wisconsin Dells for a few days, then we'll visit mass amounts of people for a couple weeks after that. It will be fun to see folks, and hopefully it feels like a vacation some of the time :) It was a toss-up between a Disney vacation in California or visit friends and family in Minnesota... Minnesota won, just barely; but we'll plan to do Disney next year. The kids have been on "countdown mode" since last week, they're getting super excited!
It seems like I have tons to do this week to prepare to be gone from church for three weeks. It'll be good to have a little break though, as August will be a busy ministry month. The 2nd weekend of August, the whole church heads to Lost Canyon in Williams, AZ. We call it "Getaway" and it's a fun family time on a beautiful campground. It's busy for me though, as I need to plan for four service over the course of three days. A couple weeks after that we set up church outside in downtown Flagstaff. It'll be busy, but I love it. I'm so grateful for what I get to do for a living!
