Getaway and 1st Day of School

Last weekend we did a three day "Getaway" with our church. This is in Williams, which is about a half hour from Flagstaff. It was such a fun time! Here's a little video I put together to show some of the highlights. That's me on the zip line and also launching my buddy off the "blob".

Also, the kids started school today. Gavin was very nervous and not very excited to go. Aubri was a little apprehensive as well. We were sort of wondering how they would handle public school also since they've mostly been used to home schooling or montessori, but they both had a wonderful day. We are so thankful! Hopefully they are still excited about school after the start having to actually do "work" next week.

Tomorrow we begin to move into our new place. We get to move in gradually, which is nice, but I think we'll at least get all the big stuff moved over this weekend and move in, and then take care of the little stuff and final cleaning later next week. We'll be a mile away from the kids' new school, so we'll most likely be walking them to school on Monday.
