Micah's First Basketball Practice

Today I brought Micah to his first basketball practice. He was so excited until about 10 feet before opening the gym doors. Fear set in and he refused to go in. I held him and brought him in but he was crying an nestled himself into me. We stayed there for a half hour and I did everything I could to encourage him to join the other kids, but he continually refused. We finally went home, but I felt bad for my little buddy. He says he has no interest in going back next year. Maybe we'll try again in the fall.
