Welcome aboard pirates and princesses! The birthday pirate had a fantastic party! Everyone was dressed up for the occasion. As pirates started to arrive they walked into Pirate Land with pirate music playing and were able to have their caricature drawn compliments of Gavin's Papa Steve. Next, they played, "Pin the Patch on the Pirate." Onto a treasure hunt with clues. They found a treasure with swords, hats, eye patches, jeweled necklaces, and more. It was then time to "Walk the Plank," which seemed to be one of the pirates and princesses favorite activities. Following that, the maties dug for treasure in sand and found gold and jeweled rings. Everyone was hungry by then so they were off to eat a fantastic pirate cake thanks to the Birthday Pirate's talented daddy. The Birthday Pirate kindly told all of his maties that they could blow out his candles for him. The Birthday Boy enjoyed opening his gifts that his friends thoughtfully brought him and having pretzel sword fights. All in all the party was a hit!
